Route 49 Over McKenzie Creek

EFK Moen performed a hydraulic analysis and floodplain study for McKenzie Creek in Wayne County, Missouri. The study analyzed the impacts to the creek resulting from the replacement of an existing bridge carrying Route 49. The analysis confirmed that the proposed bridge replacement complied with regulatory floodplain requirements while minimizing impacts to upstream and downstream properties. Hydraulic modeling results were used to support design decisions and permitting coordination, resulting in a resilient and hydraulically sound crossing solution.
